As the writer of this blog I consider myself to be the voice of a lot of people. This is a big responsibility but, that is everything that I dream of. Ever since a child I’ve been about justice. The underdog is who I’m going for! I live for the idea of helping others whether it’s small or large. I started this blog simply by following my heart. Although most never believe me, I am only a college student. I attend Georgia Southern University and I love it. Everyday is a learning experience and I’m excited to share that with you all!

Hello, my name is Alicia and I’m here to help! I’m here to create a platform for individuals quite like myself to have a voice, which we normally don’t. And by saying “like myself” I mean people who aren’t scientists or doctors, or senators, or even famous to any extent. We don’t have enough credibility according to others. But I disagree! We are the people who see, live, and experience real life daily. We have enough credibility as human beings to share our insight and opinions. The type of blogs that I write are mostly about current events or controversial topics. Sometimes I will write about my personal stories or opinions. If you believe in justice and individuality then this blog is where you belong.
My blog is specifically about the LGBT+ community and its transitions throughout the years. I believe that growth and change is important and should be commended because change is hard. This blog reaches out to all of the supporters of the LGBT+ community as well as the non-believers. The purpose is to create a positive place for discussion about this community and its achievements while highlighting positivity for those who are less educated on the topic. I strongly believe that everyone deserves a voice no matter their race, gender, or sexuality. I strongly encourage all my readers to comment and give feedback. This isn’t just about me, it’s about ya’ll. I want to hear all your opinions and stories.
